Her services include:

Manuscript assessment:

Up to 80,000 words, 3-5 page report, plus 45 min follow up consultation (online). This assessment involves a detailed reading of your work. The report is comprehensive and includes a structural assessment, a consideration of key elements including characterisation and plot development, as well considering stylistic features, the development of atmosphere and use of language. The follow-up consultation is an opportunity to discuss the report and any other questions arising in relation to the manuscript, including further stages of development. The normal turnaround for an assessment is four weeks.

Mentorship (individual):

This mentorship option runs over 4 months. It involves submitting up to 60,00 words in total over 4 instalments (15,000 words assessed per month). The discussion and development of these instalments occurs through monthly online consultations (lasting 1hr each, 1 per month). You’ll receive a written report at the end of the mentorship that summarises the nature and progress of the work and suggesting further avenues for development.

Project Problem Solving Intensive: How to Move a Project forwards (individual):

This is for people engaged in a longer writing project that is under development. The sessions are tailored to the specific project and aim to support the discussion and development of the work in specific areas. It runs as an intensive of three sessions (1 hour each) undertaken weekly or fortnightly. In these sessions there is the chance to talk through roadblocks, challenges, or unsolved questions that you’re facing in your writing and/or your writing project. This intensive offers the opportunity to think about constructive ways of solving creative challenges and moving forwards. Each session is focused on a particular issue or obstacle that you are dealing with in your work, and up to 5000 words will be read in preparation for each session.
